Nvidia HDMI audio is not working on 180.70(with modded inf of course)...i.e I am not getting any sound from my HDTV and the Nvidia HDMI device does not appear among the playback devices...why? Is this a known issue?

If it works with the bulk drivers then the new drivers are faulty. Known issue? Modded drivers always have issues...

The drivers aren't modded only the INF

Without modding the INF it is not possible to use the newer drivers unless the manufacturers eventually get around to updating their drivers. Which they never do.

Why not just go back to the last driver that worked? The .70 is very new and do you really really need to use that particular driver? Maybe wait for the next release and see if that works.

Usually they fix one thing and sometimes break another. Then fix that hehe
