    Hey guys,
    i was wondering, is it possible to upgrade the CPU in this Notebook?
    What would be the highest cpu i could use?? The Intel 765?? or 755?? It uses the intel 855GM chipet

    I think the 715/25 would be the best way to go.
    But i'm thinking...its shows you in that PDF how to remove/uninstall/install the mainboard and screen..how hard would it be finding, and installing a new mainboard for it, something with the same specs, but better onboard GfX??

    Check this thread for info about pinmodding the cpu. It seems quite applicable for 725.
    New motherboard? Why don't you buy a new laptop. I very much doubt you will find a suitably sized new MB

    No, i cant pin mod it, the chipset only supports 400mhz FSB.
    The screen is crap though, bad viewing angle, ms is like 20. Any options for third part screens? Is it just a case of finding the right size screen, and connection type, and make sure the resolution is the same?
