Hey everyone, has anyone had any problems if they've uninstalled or disabled the HP Wireless Assistant (and can it just be easily disabled from msconfig if such a thing exists in Windows 7)?

I'd like to uninstall or disable the thing if possible. Will the wireless hardware in the laptop work fine with the standard Windows wireless software?

(my laptop: a dv6t-se running Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit)

The hardware will work just fine. And yes msconfig exists in 7.

I like the wireless assistant. It's very convenient when there's a bluetooth also on the the system. You can disable them individually.
