OK I've been looking for my 2nd laptop. I'm torn between the HP zd7360 or wait for the new zd8000 series. After reading reviews on the zd8000 and looking at some of the specs it seems as if the only benefit for waiting is if you're into the heavy mulimedia applications. Well that's not what I'm into. The zd7360 seems to fit me just fine. So could any of the gurus tell me should I wait for the zd8000 series or will I be safe just going with the zd7360?

    A little background:
I mainly want a good fast computer for daily activities. I'm not a gamer at all. I use Adobe Photoshop 7.0 about 3 times a week. Battery life doesn't matter at all to me. I love to multitask also.

its all up to you. the zd8000 is coming up in a month or two, and personally i would wait (partly because i'm a gamer). The only difference i have noticed so far about the 8000 is that it has PCI express, with a mobile Radeon x600. That will help with adobe photoshop, since you use it quite often, but then again the Geforce Go5700 will handle those tasks just fine (make sure you get 128 mb though, not 64). The thing is, PCI-express is not just graphics, so if you want to be prepared for the upcoming tech of 2005 and 2006 wait for the zd8000, otherwise you should be fine with the 7000 series.
