    Official 12.1 AMD driver with 6770m

    I think it is important so I open this thread. I have installed this official driver, released yesterday and it is not working with our videocard. It is really annoying that new drivers are not working on our "new" laptops..

    It is working for me, from what I see it might not work for the 7690m xt but it is working on the 6770m. I also installed it yesterday and it's been running good. A bit better performance than the ones I had.

    OP, you need the mobility version of the drivers if you're installing them on your laptop.

    I've installed now acid was using driver(8.950) and my scores are not as good as his scores.. About 150 points of difference, if we have the same videocard what is the reason for these huge differen ces? The 4gb ram? I have only 4 and acid has 8.

    Just scored 7280 points on graphics... This is a joke. In the test I run before without oc ,graphics card did not reach 6000 points... This is madnesss

    I think your score might be so much better. Have a look to my points with 850/990 oc. It is true that is higher ocing but i am practicaly getting your points without oc.

    And my conclussion is that 8.950 driver works grat with oc but with stock clocks is slower than other ones I tried before.

    Wow, I hadn't known my DNA drivers were screwing me over. Great scores!

    OH and yes: I am probably going to overclock it a bit more, maybe bump the score up. But it is much better than my 6,600 with the DNAs.

    EDIT: it actually turned out I have no OC on it. must of forgotten to apply it.

    With OC... it is imposible to get more than 6400 points without oc with 6770m...

    Hello, how do you update to 12.1?? I installed new drivers over the HP ones (the last available on Hp site) but when I go to see the drivers on control panel it says: 8.881.0.0 of 28/7/2011, so it didn't update... :mad:
    Which procedure did you follow???

    i have no idea. BF3 rarely crash on me when i play it with TurboBoost off regardless any driver except the old 11.10.
