When I turn on the mains to the power supply brick, after a few seconds, the LEDs on the laptop will glow green, go out, glow green again and the laptop will start booting without the power switch on the laptop being pressed. Could this be down to something like oxidised contacts in the power switch in the laptop?

    Cheers, Jon.
