Hello, I recently received an Omnibook XE3 from a family member to try to repair. They put a pw on the laptop (not sure why) so that before the windows on the pc will open you have to enter in a pw. I was able to get past that part yesterday and I was able to log onto the internet and everything was great. But today, when I try to log on to the pc it won't except the pw. I have tried just about everything that I can think of and nothing is working, so now I am wondering if I replaced the hard drive, if that would make it so that I could start up the laptop normally, I also want to install windows xp on the laptop and put in more memory. If anyone could help me with this issue or has any knowledge of repairing laptops, that would be extremely helpful. Thank you
