I'm having some trouble trying to figure out which application or driver is causing to show on the screen when the volume is changed or muted.
Does anybody know which program is doing this? I've looked at the Quick Launch Buttons preferences and turned off the option to display the notifications, but still nothing.
Also, I don't have a BTTray.exe process running at all. (Not installed on the machine)

Attached is an image of what I'm talking about

I'm using Windows XP Media Center Edition (I've checked the settings in there as well) on a dv2000 (dv2040ca)

    Thanks in advance.

Its actually a part of Windows MCE not Quick launch buttons. The files should be located in the C:\Windows\ehome and disabling the ehtray process should remove the OSD from being displayed.
