That is with that code.. computer was 1800 plus the printer.... so that would have been about 2100 without the coupon. Ahh. forgot the 3year Accidental plan as well.

 

It did seem kind of high $$ but the 3 year accidental plan explains it.
congratulations. I'm typing from my 2 week Old Dv 6700. Everythings fine, just getting used to the vista settings, etc. be sure to check out this forum for Orev's clean vista install procedure, as well as other dummy guides to optimizing your lappy and making it happy...

Well, it's 8:30am and the lappy is at the local facility.. I hope I catch it today.. This is worse than Christmas morning. I don't know if it went through customs or not.. (nothing in the clearance detail) but I'm not going to ask questions..

 

yes, I remember tracking mine thru anchorage alaska, clearing customs If you live in or near a major city its a good chance you will get your lappy a day or two ahead of their schedule...
While you are waiting, take the time to check out some of the other posts with good information on optimizing your laptop, antivirus sortware, clean installs, etc. These can be found in the HP thread as well as the dummy guides..

 

Stahltkd, I feel your pain. I ordered my dv9700t on 1/16 and am anxiously awaiting for it. The estimated ship date is 2/6 and I got the 2 day shipping. I forgot to get the accidental plan so I'm going to call them up and see about getting that.
I have no patience so this waiting is killing me. LOL!

 

I do believe that you have 30 days to buy it. Click on the more info button on a build spec is where I think I found it. Wow, the 9700 must be a much more popular laptop. One week of build and 3 days shipping for me Best of luck to ya!! Word from the wise (ok ok just my .02) DO NOT even attempt to look at the order status!!!

Of course, I had an appointment today and 22 mins after I left I get a email saying that they tried delivering So.. I get to pick it up after 5pm

 

I'm going to have to start using FedEx .. one hell of a job shipping this. After Anchorage went to Indianapolis, then to Cleveland (Dest. Sort facility) then to Akron (Local) to my place. All less than a day. It was 23 hrs early
