    As you can see, I purchased only one hard drive with this laptop. My plan was to buy another hard drive on my own to fill the empty slot. Then I saw a link here in the forum's for this:

    -and now I'm panicked. Will a second drive mean that I need to have a wire running outside of the laptop? That would be totally unacceptable. Please let me know ASAP- so that I can cancel! Is it impossible to install a second drive in the standard way?

    dont worry. a caddy and a sata connector stay inside the computer. Search the HDX18 forum and you shall see the light
