I upgraded Win 7 32bit over the vista 32bit that came with my HP pavilion 6xxx entertainment series notebook and the system would come out of hibernation if the lid was lifted up.

I recently did a fresh install of Win 7 32bit and i lost Open Lid out of hibernation feature.

How do I get thsi back?

Are you talking about sleep or hibernate? They are different things. You cannot wake your computer from hibernation on lid open because hibernation dumps the RAM to HDD and then turns off the computer. Sleep mode continues to maintain power to the RAM and the computer is essentially still "on", but nonessential components are powered down.

Im very sure under hibernation I was able to turn back on the computer by flipping the lid back open.

It's not possible. The computer is in an off state. If it were possible, it would probably be an option in the BIOS.
