after days thinking about replacing my keyboard on my DV6 3210us with a backlit keyboard, and seeing someone replaced his with a backlit keyboard im very tempted to open the laptop up to see if theres a slot for the backlit feature, but is there a way to do it without voiding the warranty? got it only 3 months ago and the laptop is running smoothly without any issues, seems like a silly question but im just curious, thanks

EDIT: i looked at the maintenance guide and it seems like i dont need to open the housing, all it is is slide the keyboard out after removing a couple of screws, but will it still effect it?

If they don't know you opened it then it doesn't void the warranty.
