I currently have a zv5410, which I have had for about 8 months. I thinking of purchasing the dv4000, it seems better than the one I have. I was wondering if one has an opinion, should I switch. I know the dv4000 will be on sale for Christmas....plus in September I will be starting the PhD program, so I know I will need something up to date and portable, plus I will graduating soon with a MBA in techology manangement. Opinons please!!!

The DV4000 will be on sale in Christmas? Do you know where exactly?

The DV4000 in my opinion is much better than the ZV5000. It is lighter, will get better battery life, has the QuickPlay feature with remote, a much, much better video card. The only downside is that it costs more of course.

Interesting, could you please give some more details, such as what the sale prices will be and what models will be on sale?
