Hello everyone, I just received my CTO DV2000T this morning and I am psyched. I haven't been able to play with it too much since I am still at work. Well, here is my question: besides deleting the bloatware and updating the drivers, what else can I do to ensure that my system is running at peak performance?
Thanks for the help![]()

If you have uninstalled alot of the bloatware, then a defragment may be useful. Also, make sure you don't have any unneeded programs starting up, when the computer starts up. They use RAM and some need quite a bit of processing power.

Theres also some settings in the registry that you can edit to boost performance. I forget what they are exactly, I think one is clearing the page file cache or something? I'll look it up and post back.
Edit. I just noticed you have media center so i dunno if all of those will work. It should though.
