    Order date 1/23/2007 from Costco....when should it ship?

    I ordered a dv9000t from Costco on January 23rd.... I sort of remember the ship date as being February 1st....but of course it is not listed on any order confirmation. I emailed Costco to ask when the estimated ship date was... and they said 15-20 business days.... that sounds way too long.

    What is the average wait from Costco? Was their original ship date when I placed the order just a "teaser date"

    Just a heads up...

    I've read some postings by people who have ordered thru HP directly with their orders being in the same timeframe.

    I think the "real" mfg's are gearing up for Santa-Rosa (the new platform)... winding down from Christmas... and trying to keep their inventory in check so they are not stuck with the old units...

    New platform, changing over, keeping inventory low making for any delays.

    On the time frame quoted by COSTCO...

    I ordered a unit April 2, it shipped the 7th, arrived East Coast USA to my doorstep, by 8:30am the 10th....
