    Order processing and ship dates/times

    I ordered the Compaq R3000Z Athlon-64 notebook past Sunday. The estimated ship date is Mar 22. Does anyone have any idea how rigid that date is? Could it be possible that they actually ship before that date?

    Yes, usually they'll give you a 'worst case scenario' type of date, and then the theory is when it gets to you early you're utterly surprised and happy with HP [ ;)]

    When I ordered my laptop (customized) it said it would take about a month to get to me. To my suprise I got it in about a week and a half. It went from china to indianapolis in 1 day !!! You should get yours alot sooner then they say.
