I've found the Ethernet port on my ASUS A8N-VM CSM desktop motherboard (also GeForce 6150/430) to be a bit touchy under Linux (64-bit FC5). You'll need the latest kernel revision you can find. Fedora is very good about keeping up with the bleeding edge these days. Last time I tried it I had to cold boot the machine (as in unplug, mere soft power off didn't do the trick) to get the Ethernet port to work on the next boot. There's been at least a couple of kernel updates since then though. I was only testing out my integrated updates FC5 install DVD though, another machine is my primary Linux box.
