    Alright, I finally made a big purchase I'm not feeling buyers remorse for! I'm excited for this laptop, and I think it will be perfect for me. Here's the specs, what do you guys think?

    Windows Vista Business
    Intel Core 2 Duo T8300 (2.4-Ghz, 800-Mhz, 4-MB L2 cache)
    15.4 inch WXGA anti-glare
    ATI Radeon HD 2600 256mb DDR3
    1024MB RAM
    120GB 7200rpm HDD
    DVD+/-RW
    Wi-Fi
    Bluetooth
    Mobile Broadband (came included, not going to use)
    8-cell battery
    3 years parts/labor/accidental damage

    Total = $1177.00

    Not too bad for a little over a grand I think, especially that big warranty.

    I got only a gig of RAM and I'm going to order a 4gig kit from newegg and put that in. They wanted over $200 to add 3 gigs of RAM, when I can get 4 gigs from newegg for $79.00.

    And I got the WXGA screen instead of WSXGA since the WSXGA would have added $300 the way their config worked, and I'm fine with having a lower res. I just hope I get a good quality screen.

    Good luck with the new notebook! I purchased the 8510p last year. Mine is the 2 Ghz Core 2 Duo and I'm running XP Pro. I love this machine! :) Early on I had a problem with video, but a bios update and a modded driver fixed that. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I have mine. No complaints at all.

    Quite a good notebook for the price! Take care of it and that warranty will help you out along the way. Hope you enjoy it when it arrives.
