Ordered the Compaq B2800 even though I live in US

Ok, I might have just done a really stupid thing.

I ordered the Compaq B2800 laptop from http://www.hp.com.hk/store even though I live in the USA.

In the delivery special directions, I gave them the entire USA address. In the ship to and bill to address, I put the entire USA address too, but I couldn't the country to USA, so I put USA as a 2nd address line.

I don't know if this order will be able to process correctly. I sure hope I get the laptop. I hope they won't charge me and then not ship it or else I'd be in for a deep loss

 

If they charge you and don't ship, call the credit card company.

 

Hoping that they ship. I don't even mind paying $100 for shipping. Yes, I'm crazy, but I know this laptop is "the one" for me.

 

Better off spending more and getting what you want than having a laptop that doesn't suit you.

Update: Well, it was a failed attempt. I received an e-mail today telling me that they are only able to ship to Hong Kong and not the US

ok.did some looking up here on my side. The equivalent model here is B2813TX which is SGD $2899 inclusive of sales tax. That's slightly more than USD $1700. geez..tt's alot of money to spend on a lappy if u ask me.

 

I'm sure theres a notebook model available here that'll suit your needs. I can't see how one model can be the notebook of your dreams. Why don't you fill out the notebook buying faq? What makes the Presario B2800 so appealing to you???

 

I like the entire whiteness....That's the only appeal I guess. The other notebooks just looks dull compared to this one

ah...i take back my words...i finally understand why betty is crazy over this laptop...it'a a beauty! The sales assistant tried to rec me an Asus laptop which is of a similar design (white ipodish-type if u know at i mean). They have this little specs card which states everything except the X600 128MB DDR graphics and i was telling him "that's 1 of the main selling point of this laptop and u guys dun bother to put tt out?"

Well....cant really blame him cos it's not everyday you get a 14 inch WXGA portable laptop which can boast of such graphical power...

He quoted SGD $2799.. *ouch*

 

wow thats alot guess how much i bought mine for 1300$ bought it when i was in hongkong and i also got me a matching psp with it and now i can brag about it lol got a white psp and white laptop both that arnt out here yet =)
