    Ordering HP G6t, Good Buy?

    Mostly College work, everyday things like email, facebook, skype etc..
    also a LITTLE of gaming, just 1-2 games and that's all.

    Is this a good laptop for me?
    I did a lot of research and this turns out to be best, also it has a bigger screen and i like it.
    and it's at my budget.

    What kind of light gaming? This laptop wont be able to do any heavy lifting. It MIGHT be able to do Counter-Strike (Original) on low. If you customize it with the radeon 6470 it will be able to do more games.

    check techbargins.com and salescircular.com for machines in your price range.

    Three months ago I got an HP G72 for $495 after rebate. From a store. No waiting for shipping either.

    Point being, intelligent shopping can find you some good prices locally as well as on-line.
