    Hey, I really want to order the 8510p, but I need it by a very specific time. I want the laptop to come at least before the 21st of September. If I order the 8510p now or perhaps tomorrow, will I be able to get my 8510p before the 21st?

    Perhaps if you don't customize you should be pretty safe. You also have a decent chance at getting a custom on time. However, no one can be sure. I would say the chances are good if people start getting theirs next week. That would confirm that the 1-2 weeks is about right.
