    Hi all,

I was told that this is the forum of the best experts on notebook tweaking! I own an HP DV6 1140 EL with P8400 processor and Ati 4650 gpu. I would like to know if smone can give me step by step help in overclocking CPU and GPU. I have experience with desktop overclocking but never tried notebook. Your help is most appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It is not currently possible to the overclock the CPU and GPU through the BIOS.

Also, I don't think there are any software utilities out there that enable overclocking on HP Pavilion notebooks. I would advise against it anyway due to the potential heat and system issues that might result.
