Since there are no bios options for overclocking, there is very little you can do. one option I have heard about is using speaker wire or something fine to connect some pins on the cpu to set a different multiplier...

You can overclock with Clockgen. Just set the HTT value higher (defaults to 200). I don't recommend it though.

I haven't tried. Notebook cooling systems just aren't designed for it. The memory might complain before the CPU does. A combination of a small undervolt (0.1V below stock, say) and slowly raising your HTT speed is your best bet but I don't think you'll get far enough for overclocking to be worthwhile.

oooh, I have a good idea... oh wait.. if we could underclock the ram to 166 instead of 200 (if you have pc3200) then you could increase the fsb or htt to 200 so the ram is running at 200 still but the cpu is runnin faster. im sure that would work, I do it on my pc. I will have to try that tonight with A64tweaker.. underclock it and then rainse the fsb. do you have a link for that app?

Oops. The original poster has a R3000 that is supported (nForce3 chipset), I forgot that you have the newer model.
