    Hi to all.

I am planning to overclock my pavilion notebook to about 3GHz for my processor, 2GB Dedicated Graphics Memory & RAM to 5GB.

This is my current stats of my notebook:

AMD Turion II Ultra Dual-Core Processor 2.5GHz
ATI Radeon HD 4530 GPU with 512MB Dedicated Graphics Memory
    4GB DDR2 SDRAM (2 Dimm)

Is it safe to make the above changes or should i just leave it as it is?

If it is safe to overclock then where can i find a program to do so?

    Thanks. :D

    Matt

get K10stat to undervolt first and then overclock.
also get an application to keep temperatures in check like HWinfo.

What is your Turion? I have M520.

    Check my undervolting results here

I didn't overclock and right now my CPU at 2.3Ghz pushed to the max doesn't goes more than 67ºC at around 20ºC ambient room .
At max factory voltage i had i could probably be at 2.5ghz.

I have now NOT to overclock my processor because i thought i was as good with computers as i thought i was & i don't want to destroy my computer because this is the first gaming computer i am currently using.

So basically im scared i will stop my computer totally. :spinny:

    But thank you anyway.
