I just downloaded Sapphire TriXX which lets me control the Core speed, Memory Speed and Voltage.
Is it safe to mess with all three of those things, I've never messed with voltage on anything before. Have you guys overclocked effectively, TEMP increases (how much?) and what utilities did you guys use.

I know that a lot of what I am asking is covered in various threads, but it makes it easier for others to search and post on this specific issue. What are safe clocks, etc?

I'm running 775 Core & 875 Ram as my 24/7 OC(for Gaming). For Benchmarking I've had it at 850/950 and higher and from my experience so far heat doesnt go up too dramatically but stability starts to be an issue at those speeds. But yea for a 128bit card its pretty sweet.

Sapphires' Trixx Utility better than MSI's Afterburner IMHO. U can get higher clocks by upping the voltage but yea it gets hotter.

Hey guys, you can now check this Stable Overclocking thread out now. :) I think this one should have been the main overclocking thread, since it was here first, but i guess now we can all migrate over there and increase our Über overclocking skills and abilities, get it high and stable so we can act like our dv6/7t's have 68XX Series!
