    PC Recovery Disc Creator. How does it work?

    I pulled the trigger on the V2630. Now I'm in the break in process. I come across the PC Recovery Disc Creator application. Alas I'm going to create the backup disk. However, a thought occured to me.

    Maybe after I do a system clean up I could the use PC Recovery Disc Creator to make an image/backup of the newly configured setup.

    Would this work? Or is this a POS program that's just making a image copy of the out of the box Compaq setup.

    I think it is a joke and HP trying to save some money.
    Instead of giving us a CD(s) HP say we have it on our HD, (what good is that if our HD fails) and to make our own, which takes a WHOLE BUNCH of CD's.
