    PCMCIA Card Button Release Doesnt Stay In

    I know this sounds like a really stupid problem but I can't get the pcmcia release button on Compag V2000z model to stay in :eek:

    any suggestions???

    First, take out the pcmcia card. Then press the release button in so that it locks and doesn't stick out. Now insert the card back in. =)

    I cant get it to lock with the card out :(

    Anyone else have this problem, HP support wants me to bring it to an authorized repair center
