After I took out my wifi card today I tried to push the PCMCIA slot button back in, but it wouldnt work. Not matter how I try and do it it wont work.

Is this a known problem or just something that I'm stuck with?

The laptop is only 4 months old, what should I do short of cutting it off.

    Thanks

This happened on my brother's V200z as well. I had to push the lever towards the speakers and push in several times, but got it to work.

I tried something like that just 5mins ago... the button flew off as well as about 5 SMALL pieces of hardware. It will be FUUUUUN putting it back together.

I think I will just leave it off :/

hm, can't you just pull card out. That's what I do although I'm not sure if it's particularly healthy for the slot.
