    Pauses in sound?

    I have a E14Beats and I have my headphones plugged in listening to music. Now whenever I get a message on skype, i hear a sort of beep in my headphones and the music pauses for a moment. I don't think skype should interrupt all other sounds. What's causing this?

    not sure.

    haven't really used skype too much.

    I mean is skype somehow outputting through the other headphones jack option (wrong thing is picked in the settings somewhere)

    and maybe that's causing issues.

    you need to select headphones and speakers not independent headphones in any of the sound output options in skype
