    Pavilion DV5 1004NR 12-cell battery???

    I couldn't find a search button for this topic, so I'm posting this. :eek:

    I'm trying really hard to find a 12-cell battery for the Pavilion DV5 1004NR laptop. It seems I cannot find anyone online or a physical store that carries it. I even called HP.com and they gave me information on the EV089AA 12 cell battery. So, on my way to Best Buy. I take it back home, and lo and behold...it doesn't fit....and no, the PB995A doesn't fit either.

    I've Google'd and Cuil'd, and I still can't find anything. Does a 12-cell battery even exist for this laptop? :confused:

    EV089AA is for the previous series, and there is currently no 12-cell available for the dv5. One is incoming, but not here yet..........

    Great...I suppose I have to wait now. Any clue when? I'm going to Boston in 2 weeks. Crap
