 Does Best Buy have some sort of exclusive on the A-series equipped G4's? I love the specs of the G4-1117dx but not necessarily a Best Buy fan... Amazon does not have. Haven't seen anywhere else online.
Another model num with A Series??

Yes, I'll also going to change the 5400RPM HDD to SSD, because it holds back the computer's potential.

one would think they would realize this by now and just include an image on a dvd to 'restore' to the ssd of your choice.

If anybody buy G4-1117dx, I recommend to upgrade Dual-Channel memory configuration (add 2 or 4GB DDR3 1333Mhz). I've added another 2GB module near the 4GB and noticed huge performance increase.
    My new results are:
    3DMark2001SE:17659
    3DMark2003:14413
    3DMark2011:614

Yes, just added an OCZ Agility 2 SSD. Laptop is lightning fast now and even good for games!
