    Hello everyone,

    My university gives me some money for a laptop and ive come down to two choices. Pavilion G6-2252 and ENVY 6-1000EV

    The pavilion will be heavily more powerful.
    On the other hand the Envy is a bit sleeker, more fancy. Old tech though.
    I'd go with the pavilion myself.

    Personally I'd pick the ENVY, as the build quality, design, keyboard and touchpad are better quality. The specs are not as good but the performance difference will probably not be noticed for 99.5% of tasks (maybe Photoshop, and any sort of long rendering/encoding). Overall though there is not much of a functional difference between the two. (Note that I said personally, as it is kind of hard to help you without knowing what you are going to be doing with this computer.)
