After shopping for what felt like weeks for a laptop that suited my needs, I finally opted for this one. It specs out perfectly on paper.

I brought it home and set it up, and it seems like every time I click the mouse buttons, they stick for a moment. It makes an annoying noise as well.

Has anyone else experienced this? I am wondering if I have a faulty laptop or if it is a "feature". Either way, I either need a new one, or a different model. I just need to know what direction to aim in...

For what it is worth, it WAS a defective touchpad.

I had lost confidence in the hardware though while researching last night, so I opted for a different machine upon store exchange.
