    Hello!

I recently noticed a bunch of Event 12, HAL error events in my system log. Sometimes system freezes when waiking from sleep and i have to press power button for 10 secs to reboot... Bios version is F.04 and i know there is newer version available (F 13 A). Should i update bios? Does it resolve this issue?

    Event ID: 12
    Source: HAL
    Type: Error
Description: The platform firmware has corrupted memory across the previous system power transition. Please check for updated firmware for your system.

    Hi,

I have the same notebook - except it came with the F13A BIOS already. I did not see any Hal errors on mine.
Could you do me a favor and check if you have the option to disable hyperthreading in your bios? I would consider downgrading then if that works.

    Many thanks!
