    Hello all,
    I have a dv6253cl which came with vista and I am looking to put XP Pro on it, but cant seem to find all of the drivers.

    The nvidia drivers were easy enough, as was the touchpad, but HP seems to not support this laptop if you use XP on it.

    If anyone has a webpage where HP has the WinXP drives for this notebook I would really appreciate it if you would post it.

    thanks for the link. I had found that but wasnt sure if it was compatible with my model.

    if your a costco member you can get the cupon for free..

    they should be ;) . best store in the world. its where I bought this laptop. I will most likely be returning it when the 100 dollar off cupon comes out so that I can purchase it with the cupon. Or, if costco decides to be cool, just get the 100 dollars back and keep the laptop.

    I had some problem with my dv6253cl and fix these got drivers for dv6000z.
