    Pavilion dv6281 charging problem...

    Hi.

    I have an HP Pavilion dv6218. My problem is that even when the battery is 100% charged, the battery light is always on when the notebook is off, as if it's still charging.The notebook came with Vista Home Premium but I downgraded to XP Pro, and never encountered this problem until now. Anybody has an idea what to do?

    PS:The battery is brand new and I've already tried another charger, but the problem persisted.
