Hello, I recently reformatted my original Vista Home Premium that came with my system and installed clean copy of XP Professional on it (wiped out Vista entirely). Now I am stuck since this model obviously doesn't support XP. Can anyone tell me where and which drivers to download so that I can get everything on my laptop working again? I need quite a few, such as the Conexant audio driver and HP Power Management software... also the QuickPlay buttons below the speaker would be convenient to have again. I checked the HP drivers site http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=228&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=3369389&lang=en but they don't have anywhere near enough drivers for me to download... missing a lot of the vital ones.

Any help appreciated, thanks in advance!

I have tried the dv9000t CTO drivers and most of them don't work with my model. Conexant audio driver doesn't work, and neither does the webcam. I haven't tried any other drivers since the audio is my main priority right now.

Did you install the MS UAA drivers before trying to install the audio/modem drivers?

Yes I have, and whenever I install the Conexant audio driver, it'll simply say ERROR MEDIA NOT FOUND, or something similar. I don't know what is wrong.

You must have windows XP service pack 2, I changed my DV9310 last week, first all the drivers didn't work, but after I re-installed windows xp with service pack 2, all the drivers work fine.
