got a pavilion m6 1000-sg, but have trouble getting powerdvd to work with 3d stuff. problem is that apparently the graphis card used is always the intel HD card and not the radeon and which apparently cannot cope with the 3d stuff.
even when I set all powerdvd.exe and whatever files to use the high speed graphic card in catalyst settings, it still doesnt really change anything.
I tried it with powerdvd 11 and 12. afaik you are not even supposed to use the non igp card with v11 and in the video settings field, theres only the intel hd graphics card listed.
in 12, theres no option to set or change the graphic card any more at all.
apart from that, its also not possible to activate the radeon only via bios, because f.03 is apparently too crappy.
any ideas how I can get powerdvd to use only the radeon card?

if you have not installed the catalyst driver suite 12.8, do so and then run Power DVD and immediately exit it. The AMD driver should ask you to assign the application and at that point choose HIGH PERFORMANCE. Do this for all of the PowerDVD programs that run (I had 2 of them listed)
You will have to uninstall the current drivers to remove all the settings (start in safe mode and run the add remove programs for AMD) reboot and install the 12.8.
