What happened to the touchscreen and the back lit keyboard on the DV6t quad? Why did HP stop offering that. I had one but it had the faulty Sandy Bridge chipset so I sent it back. I like the touchscreen and back lit keyboard.

Do you people really have to open a new thread for every simple question?

They had to do something to make people pay extra for the envy.

So they think people are going to choose the Envy over the Pavilion just because it has a backlit keyboard? That seems a little goofy...

Well it worked ;) Got the XPS 15 over the dv6 because of the lack of the backlit keyboard.

    On the dv6t 6xxx,
Instead of a backlit keyboard, you get a backlit touchpad which was pretty much useless when I played with it at Costco for 30 secs.

I would love to see a dv7 with a touch screen and backlit keyboard... would have already ordered if that was the case... or if they would get with the program and put a 1080p screen in their 17" models.

Whoa! Which Costco are you at? Lol, I go to Costco often to check out the laptops, and they do only have the 4xxx series still..like Alchemist said.
