I just bought a a pavilion zd8185ea and even though it has flaws, I'm very happy with the things it CAN achieve.

I have a couple of "problems" though, minor stuff I'd like to try to sort out:

    - it has this nifty remote control, but so far the "play", rewind, stop, ffwd buttons only seem to work with mediaplayer and windvd. Any way to work around this? I'm a winamp person myself, and I'd love to be able to use that remote while I'm doing other stuff than being at my computer... and no, I'm not gonna use mediaplayer :p

The same goes for the function keys: any way to change them?

Thanks for the help, I appreciate it ^^

For the function keys, if you upgrade to the newest Quick Launch Buttons driver, there should be a tab that allows you to configure your function keys.
