This is my daughters laptop so I didn't see the update, she told me that she received a message to reboot after an applied update, once she rebooted the Touch Screen stopped working.

I suspect the update was from the HP support assistant, possibly a BIOS.

I checked all the usual Windows settings and drivers, all are fine.

I booted to the BIOS and System Tests. Under Component Tests the Touch test also did not respond to anything. The BIOS does not have any configurable options for any items other than date, time, boot order and passwords.

HP does not have any software downloads for this model. I'd like to revert to a previous BIOS currently at F.13. Does anyone know where I might find an earlier BIOS?
