    Hi ppl
    I own a Dv6000z. Just want to compare the heat in the new DV models.
    please indicated your CPU type and Idle temp and heavy loaded temp. Thanks a lot.

    CPU: AMD X2 1.8 GHz
    Temp: Idle 50c Highest 67C fan kicks in around 55-57

    I wrote the review for the DV6000z. It had the ML-56. I thought it was well within the normal range though I did not gauge the temperature.

    My V3000z idles at around ~38 - 40. The max I have seen with dual prime running is 69C. All readings are from Core Temp.

    dv2035us (dv2000t variant) with Core Duo T2050.

    Idles around 31 to 34C. Highest maybe 55C? Granted, I don't use many 'heavy load' programs, so...

    GPU temp: low 60c idle, 73c stressed.

    How do you measure the CPU temp?
