I was wondering if you guys can check in your BIOS to see if Intels Virtualization technology was activated on your units or if there is a way to activate them in the BIOS.

    Thank you.

only useful if ur using virtual machines like the ones on virtual PC or VMWare. in other words using an OS inside an OS for whatever purpose.

personally i didnt quite notice a difference with my t7200 with vt on or off, maybe cuz i was using VMWare and i havent tried virtualPC to see if its any better than the 04 version which sucked.

maybe u shud google a review of the feature to see how much of an impact it will have on u

I'm not sure but it is only useful if you are using hardware based virtualization. Vmware is software based I believe. Hardware based would be KVM or Xen. Please correct me if i'm wrong.

(I use liinux w/ windows in vmware but plan to try Xen or KVM later)
