    Hello,
I've been using a HP G42 369TU notebook for 9 months. I bought it brand new. I'm using windows 7 Ultimate operating system in 32 bit. The problem is, often my computer restart automatically. More preferrebly when i move the notebook or pull it up to place it somewhere else. Even when i try to get any usb device out from the port. I noticed it happens when it runs for a while and gets hotter. Sometimes I got the screen jumping, like the fonts ans graphics are getting fuzzy. I don't know why this is heppening. For the screen problem I thoughtt it's a hardware problem,. but some guyz told me it can happen for the overheating. So what can i do? Can you give me some idea why this is happening? How can i solve it.? How can I clear the fan without disassembling it. I tried to open it, but I failed.
    Looking forward to your reply.

if you are not comfortable opening the laptop, as it's only 9 months old, you can get it serviced under warranty.

Seems like you have a dust issue, but also you probably need new cpu/gpu paste. The cpu paste HP uses does have a tendency to dry out over time, especially if the environment the laptop is in is dusty and/or dry/hot.

Is the fan spinning or broken? Does it spin very fast and loud to indicate its actually hot? Does it feel hot, is the air hot coming out of it when you think its overheating?
Its odd that USB triggers it and moving it. Does it give you a message to say it is or was shut down to protect your laptop, that sort of thing?

First of all let me thank you Nilst for your concern.
I don't think it's broken. I've seen it quite ok. I never heard anything I can say loud. Or perhaps it's spinning in a regular basis.
As far as I can see and hear it from outside it's ok.
Yap. After 10+ minutes from the beginning hot air starts coming out from the vent.
The USB issue happens hardly and randomly. Is USB able to make the fan vulnerable as much as it can stop the computer? I heard a very low sound like"TIK" before it shut down. Does it bring any message that it shutted down to protect my laptop?
One thing very important. I don't know why it's happening.
Now my laptop is quite ok. Ok means very ok. It doesn't show any sorts of problem. Anything. I can move it anywhere. I can use it by anyhow. But I swear i didn't do anything to solve it. Ooo... by the way I just blow air on the vent by mouth not with the air compressor.
As I seen my laptop gets hyper for very while. Most of the time it remains "QUITE OK".
I really don't understand why it behave weird very often. These weird things happen mostly when i come back after a long journey with the laptop. Does it make any sense?
Thanks again. Hope to get your reply soon.

The TICK you hear is the hard drive losing power. it isn't parked if it makes that noise, so try not to bang it (or you'll kill the drive)

You definately need a clean, all of your issues scream SERVICE ME!

Thanks SoMeAm. But I'm here in Bangladesh. How can I get in touch with you? If I'm gonna service it under the warranty won't I contact to the store from where I bought this?
