I've just received an 8510p from BLT (shipped to Canada). Perfect service and wouldn't hesistate to use them again. It's also a great laptop!

They are great! There is quite a lot of happy owners of 8510p that ordered from them including Me :)
Although it looks like theve received loads of different configs ie HDD for them. Mine is Fujitsu, i know people had Seagate and Hitachi as well. Must be HP just putting whatever theve got ;)

    Thanks for the replies.

However, I have a quick question...does the 8510p have the HD 2600 or the HD 2600 XT?

difference between them two is in clock speeds. from what we know it is downclocked 2600. yet if you are lucky enough u might get it close to xt performance o/c the freqs.

I have no idea which graphics card is in mine, but it plays BF2142 and HL2 on high at high resolution (can't remember what I set it too but it was as high as the game would allow) very well. I haven't tried to overclock it yet either.

This is my first laptop so it's hard to be objective, but i'm very impressed with the 8510ps' gaming abilities.

That is excellent news! I just wish the 8510p would just release in Scandinavia so I could get it. :)
