Hi guys, I have looked for a laptop for a time. At first my choice was between hp dv5000z and dell e1505. Then I found compaq v2000z might be better for me. (more portable, cheaper...) These days I have seen many v2000z deals. Today I found the Presario v2565-us Laptop for $699.99 on CompUSA.

I think it is really a great deal. The config meets my need and it is about $100 cheaper than custimizing the same stuff on hpshopping.com. Now the problem is, this offer ends on April 1. I have no idea whether I should buy it right away or wait another two or three weeks to see if there are any other great deals

I would say buy it when you need the laptop. There is really no way to predict if the price might increase or decrease in the future or even if there will be a better deal. You can wait for a better deal, but there is no real gurantee that there will be one.

The price is pretty good though for the specifications.

EDIT: Have you checked out this deal from Officedepot for $399. Although it is a lower end configuration, you can upgrade to a Turion(among a few other things) and see what the price comes up to...

Thank you miner. I'll go to CompUSA and OD today. Both two deals are great, the advantage in CompUSA is that you can pick it up right away!
