    Hey guys, I downgraded my computer from vista to xp but I am unable to find the correct graphic driver or the chipset.
    any help will be greatly appreciated.
    my model number is Dv2500 series dv2000

    You need to know what is your graphic card.

    how do i find that out since when I click properties on my desktop it says default monitor on.

    Don't you have manual/pdf of your laptop with specs? If not, go to VGA video controler above in device manager like you have shown in first image go to properties and take note of "device id" number then search in Google: Device id XYZ .
