    Plugged in but not charging?

    i have a hp dv 6408nr , that i got two weeks ago at best buy, as my back up machine , so everything was fine. So i would leave it plugged in all times so i presume battery is fully charged, adn i came home unplugged it and was it wouldnt wake up. And i plug it back in it wakes up , and it says plugged in but not charging , so if anybody can spill some lite?
