I was just wondering if both the nc8430 and the nx9420 come with the pointer stick?

The nc8430 does, though I'm not sure about the nx9420. I think it does.

The nx9420 does not have a point stick, neither do any nx series notebooks.

However, since the systemboards are the same, you can purchase a nc/nw range keyboard and install it yourself. I have done this to my nx8420, so I know it works.
