This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Pop up Problem

    I have a Laptop Compaq evo N610 mobile p4 ,with windows xp service pack1.
    On microsoft internet explorer,surfing many websites,some pages show following pop-up,
    your current security setting prohibit running active x controls on this page.As a result the page may not display correctly.Please advise me how fix this problem ??

    I use IE7, to diable popup notification, open IE - select tools - internet options - privacy - under popup blocker tab select & open setting - in there untick show information bar when popup blocked.

    Use Firefox. Period. :cool:

    (And AdBlock Plus is good, too.)
